Welcome to Broken Stone Ranch
Broken Stone Ranch is a family-owned Texas Longhorn ranch in northwest Iowa, owned by Jason and Angie Kreft.
It all started about 20 years ago with two Longhorns that were really just meant to be a little pasture art. That didn’t last long. Before they knew it, Jason and Angie were hooked, and those first two cattle turned into a real passion for the breed.
Today, they are continuing to grow their herd with a focus on bold color, strong genetics, horn length, and cattle with plenty of potential. They enjoy watching each animal develop and seeing how different genetics come together over time.
What began as something fun to look at in the pasture has turned into a family passion and, as they like to say, a bit of an addiction.
